Walkers point Center for the Arts

I worked as an intern at Walker's Point Center for The Arts in the summer of 2019. The summer program Included all different types of art that each had its own week to be worked on. We explored, print making and letter press, to Stop motion video, different types of fibers work, sculpture and assemblage  and so many others!  I worked directly with the students in their art making; With that either being the leader of a smaller group of students or going around and offering help to any and all of the students. We took the students on a few different field trips including the Lyndon Sculpture Garden as well as a Local print shop, where the students were able to create prints of their own!

As an Intern I also helped put together the student show that happened at the end of the summer, as well as volunteering my time with a fundraiser for the art center. If you are looking for a summer program for your children I could not recommend this one more! The students are fully engaged and love the program- the staff at WPCA is incredible and put so much time and dedication in all they do. To find out more about WPCA click the link below!
