For this lesson that I have called Value Dinos, students learned about value (any color or hue ranging from light to dark) and applied that knowledge when they colored in the drawing they created of the dinosaurs we did as a class. As a part one to the lesson on value we talked about value and what it is, talked about examples and students were then asked to create a value scale to help further their understanding. As a bonus to this lesson, students learned about Whole to part drawing to create the dinosaur.

We did this lesson virtually and the students did an amazing Job!
